Tell us about your background:
I'm a transformation leader who has worked at the intersection of retail and technology for over 15 years. While I started working in retail in Supply Chain and Product Development, I ultimately transitioned into Program Management at a technology company in the retail space. I have had the opportunity to work with people from all backgrounds - merchandising, marketing, engineering - and provide the frameworks and support that allowed their strategies to scale.

Best career advice you've ever received?
This is actually advice a friend received, but its a good one, so I'll share: you're always juggling glass and plastic balls and the trick is to know which ones are glass balls and not to let them drop.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

Transparency and directness are leadership qualities that are important to me.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

I created the Program Management function at my previous company. I needed to design our operating model, create development tracks for my team, and ensure that we were continuing to positively contribute to the business all at the same time.

How do you define success in your career, and how has that definition evolved over time?

When I was starting out, success was defined by what I personally delivered. As I have grown in my career and managed and mentored others, success is when I see others able to take concepts I taught them and drive results in their own endeavors.
