Community Guidelines

Welcome to the co-lab, a member-led, inclusive global networking community for fashion, beauty, wellness, retail and consumer luxury professionals. Our platform is an authentic and engaging space to network and collaborate. Help us keep this community strong by adhering to the guidelines below. Each of us is an important member of the community. If you see something you think may violate the guidelines, report it here: info@jointhecolab.com

Respect the community’s personal information.
·      Do not share email addresses or other personal contact information outside the community without permission.
·      Do not add email addresses to your business newsletter or your business database without the addressee’s knowledge and permission.

Foster meaningful and genuine interactions.
·      The co-lab is a place for igniting creativity, sharing ideas, and offering mentorship and advice. This is not a space for selling your services or the services of others unless a referral is specifically requested.
·      Regarding self-promotion, please use your judgment. If you’re promoting an event or product launch for our community, kindly limit yourself to 2 posts on the topic.
·      Our community thrives on genuine openness and candor. Content and commentary cannot be reused, quoted or reported to the press without the express consent of the community individual.

Be thoughtful when posting.
·      Offensive, graphic or inappropriate content is never welcome on any platform managed by the co-lab.
·      This community is inclusive and has members of all races, ages, genders, sexual orientations, levels of experience, and educational backgrounds.
·      Only post job openings or hiring information if you can help a community member in applying or interviewing for the role or if you can personally help a community member prep for an interview.
·      Do not Reply All unless your message is relevant to the entire community.

Do your due diligence.
If you meet someone through the co-lab and decide to work with them or collaborate on a project, you do so at your own risk. The co-lab, Kristy Hurt Consulting, and Kristy Hurt Consulting Independent Contractors are not responsible for any loss of revenue, damages, breach of contract, or any other unfavorable situations as a result of that relationship.

Thank you for helping us create the co-lab!

With gratitude and utmost professionalism,
the co-lab Team
