Tell us about your background:

Greetings! I am a photographer/retoucher/content creator with experience in wardrobe styling. I've been a freelancer for about 5-6 years, with a background in Communications/Journalism! I'm looking to expand my network and connect with more people in the commercial/editorial world!

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

How beneficial it is to post and interact on LinkedIn! I've just started utilizing the platform in that way and I've reached people I never imagined.

Best career advice you've ever received?

When in a creative rut, look at other forms of art outside of the one(s) you create. So as a photographer, it has been beneficial to look at traditional art mediums, like paintings. Or to even look at food or architectural photography, since I mainly focus on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

Someone who welcomes questions, empowers others, and is direct.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

Overcoming my imposter syndrome. I'm making more of an effort to have the audacity!

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

A vintage, tropical print slip dress.
