Tell us about your background:
I like to think of myself as a creative entrepreneur with commercial common sense, experienced on both sides of the industry—from leading agencies to running creative departments inside global brands. As an executive in content and creative services, I empower creativity while driving cross-functional alignment through smart process and a well defined brand language. I lead integrated seasonal planning, helping teams organize their creative needs and optimize content so every channel is synchronized where it needs to be and expanded where it can be.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

Being intimidated is a waste of time. Engage. When you listen you learn.

Best career advice you've ever received?
There is no such thing as luck. Do the work.
"Luck is where preparation meets opportunity".
- Robert Evans

What leadership qualities are important to you?
Leading by example.
Turning mistakes into learning experiences.
Organization and delegation.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

Leaving New York. Temporarily.

How do you define success in your career, and how has that definition evolved over time?

Success to me is doing something I love with people I admire. I have really honed in on what I love instead of chasing fame and money. Technology has blurred the lines of life and work so I better love what I do.

How has networking contributed to your professional growth and success?

Immeasurable value. Not only does it inspire me - it helps to feel connected and helpful to others.

What are your top networking tips for building strong connections in your industry?
Keep social - but focused on what you love. Being an introvert it's a bit of work but once I'm engaged I live for it.
