Tell us about your background:
I’m a brand marketing leader and strategist with over a decade of experience building consumer brands across tech and e-commerce. Most recently, I was Senior Global Brand Manager at Coffee Meets Bagel, where I repositioned the app as “the dating app for serious relationships” and launched campaigns that resonated across the U.S. and APAC. From partnering with influencers to challenge stereotypes to crafting culturally specific launches in new markets, I focused on making the brand feel more relevant and differentiated in a crowded space.

Before CMB, I led content marketing at FullBeauty Brands, where I helped scale social media channels and built influencer gifting programs that celebrated body positivity and inclusivity. I’ve also worked in consulting, fashion, and grassroots community projects — from women’s sports partnerships to local event marketing.

At the heart of my work is a belief that the strongest brands are the ones that tell stories rooted in empathy and cultural insight, while still delivering tangible business impact. I’m passionate about blending creativity with strategy to spark conversations, shift perceptions, and ultimately drive growth.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?
Stay curious. The marketing landscape will always move fast. You don’t need to master every new trend or tool right away - but keeping an open ear, asking questions, and staying engaged will keep you sharp and adaptable over the long run.

Best career advice you've ever received?
“Your career is a marathon, not a sprint.” It was a reminder that careers aren’t linear - the most meaningful growth comes from chasing opportunities that spark your interest, not just titles or quick wins.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

Trust. It’s the foundation of good leadership. I believe in giving my team the autonomy and confidence to do their jobs in the way they know best. When trust is missing, dysfunction creeps in quickly - but when it’s present, it creates a culture where people can truly thrive.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

Balancing creativity with measurement. I’ve always been drawn to bold, culture-driven ideas, but in business settings, you need to prove results. Over time, I’ve learned to anchor creativity in data - whether that’s setting clear campaign KPIs or tying brand storytelling back to growth metrics.

How do you define success in your career, and how has that definition evolved over time?

Early in my career, I defined success by titles and traditional milestones. Over time, that’s shifted - now success means creating work I’m genuinely proud of, the kind I can look back on and say, “Wow, wasn't that cool.” I’m energized by seeing my work come to life in the real world - the cultural impact it has, and the tangible business results it delivers.

How has networking contributed to your professional growth and success?

Networking helps uncover professional blind spots. Colleagues you work with every day may be too close to offer truly objective feedback, but people in your wider network can provide fresh perspectives. Those outside insights have often helped me see new ways of approaching problems or carrying myself at work that I might not have realized on my own.

What are your top networking tips for building strong connections in your industry?

Don’t approach networking as a transaction - focus on being useful. Ask people what they’re working on, listen for their challenges, and share an article, podcast, or resource that might help. When you show up this way, people see you as a peer, a partner, and even a thought leader - not just someone looking for a favor.
