the co-lab talk with Aliza Licht: Perfect Your Elevator Pitch

Join us for a discussion with Aliza Licht as we learn the art of the perfect personal elevator pitch.

In her talks, Aliza gives a particular emphasis on communicating and building your brand in social media, where personal and professional lines are blurred, and a strong sense of self is a requirement. Taking the audience through the story of how DKNY PR GIRL® came to be and how the profile rapidly grew, Licht shares tips for authentically engaging online, being socially savvy, and managing a social media crisis. She then talks about the importance of being your own publicist, building and maintaining your reputation, how to be a great networker, tips for improving your presentation skills, and how to be a likeable leader. Since Covid, Aliza also focuses on how to market your brand during a crisis, pivot professionally, and land new opportunities.

Aliza Licht is the Founder and President of LEAVE YOUR MARK LLC, a creative brand marketing and digital strategy consultancy. She is also the author of the best-selling book LEAVE YOUR MARK and host of the LEAVE YOUR MARK podcast, which offers fresh career advice every Sunday. Licht also writes a career advice column on Forbes.com and LinkedIn, and was dubbed one of America's "Next Top Mentors" by The New York Times. As the former DKNY PR GIRL social media personality, she is an award-winning digital strategist, a TEDx speaker, was named one of Time's "Six Women Who Rule the Fashion World" and was listed as #30 in the "Top 50 Most Powerful Women in New York," by The New York Daily News.
