What does the future of beauty brand design look like? From popular font styles to color palettes, learn how sustainability, inclusivity, and social media trends influence beauty brands both on and offline.

Meg Barr currently leads product marketing at Love Wellness where she manages product roadmapping, reflecting brand growth strategy into new categories, distribution and consumer bases. She previously worked at the Estée Lauder Companies, across various brands, including: Estée Lauder, Origins, Lab Series and Aerin Beauty, where she was responsible for all things product and brand marketing. She is a New Jersey native and a proud graduate of Oberlin College. In her free time, she loves to discover new NYC neighborhoods on weekend runs!

Melissa Burkheimer is the Director of Brand Strategy and Design at Melissa Burkheimer Studios. Her company curates brand campaigns for product launches, making sure your creative assets align with your big-picture vision and sales goals. In short, we design seamless brand experiences that inspire action––keeping customers coming back for more.

Stacey Levine is a Brand Marketing + Communications Consultant based in NYC. She helps beauty brands bring their go-to-market strategies to life and build brand love.

Stacey brings deep insights into the beauty industry, a passion for clean + sustainable brands, and years of experience with D2C and retail. Her decade of beauty experience has spanned both agency and in-house roles across brand marketing + PR, and now she works as a consultant with brands to define what makes them unique and strategize how to make a splash. She has worked with brands from Fortune 500 to indie, including L’Oreal Paris, Eva NYC, CoverGirl, Soap & Glory, Artis, and Herbal Essences.

Jamie Rosen is a storyteller, writer, editor, and brand builder and founder of Office of the Surface. She is a leading authority in the beauty space, known for an engaging approach that strongly links beauty with health and wellness at the luxury level.

She works with up-and-coming and well-established beauty, wellness, tech and travel brands on storytelling and strategic consulting. Her objective has always been to create beauty that resonates: ideas and products and brands that are compelling, covetable and impossible to ignore.

She has recently worked on a spa concept for a new eco-conscious hotel in Mexico, rand strategy and consulting in the tech beauty space (ZIIP, soon-to-be launched project from Initiate Studios) up-and-coming skincare (Lendava, Danucera) luxury fragrance (Aedes de Venustas, Nomenclature) and established lines (Tata Harper, LoveShackFancy, Senté, Kevyn Aucoin, and Shiseido).

In her work as an award-winning journalist, she is known for identifying talent and emerging brands, and exploring pivotal shifts in consumer behavior. She is currently a Contributing Editor at Town & Country, where she served as Beauty Director for over seven years; and the Editor-at-Large at the Conservatory, a concept store rooted in considered luxury with locations in New York, Dallas, and Houston.

She has been featured in T Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, Byrdie, Romper, Beauty Independent, ShopBazaar, the Zoe Report, the New Potato, the Coveteur, Daily Front Row, and Charlotte’s Book. She can be found @jamierosennyc.

The Marketing Lunch Hour is open to all co-lab members, and Marketers of all levels. We encourage everyone to bring questions, and participate in this timely discussion.
