A co-lab workshop on brand writing with co-lab member Lindsay Denninger

Kickstart your marketing writing gigs — or brush up on the basics — with this introduction to copywriting and brand guidelines.

This 90-minute workshop will teach how to write effective — but still interesting — brand copy that targets the right audiences, gets your point across, and converts customers.

As a result of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Identify the voice of your brand

  • Determine the core messaging of your brand

  • Find inspiration and research your competitive set

  • Speak to your brand’s core customers

  • Describe the tenets of good, effective copywriting

This workshop will be lead by co-lab member Lindsay Denninger. She is an award-winning writer, editorial director, and digital marketer with over a decade of experience telling big stories for big brands like Ann Taylor, UNIQLO, BMW, Goldman Sachs, HomeGoods, One Kings Lane and Birchbox. Lindsay also has bylines in Cosmopolitan, Bustle, Refinery29, Best Life, and Time Out New York, where she was awarded the title of “New York’s Next Great Food Writer." Visit her online at www.lindsaydenninger.com.

Please note, to ensure our speakers have a full and engaged session, we accept cancellations up to 24 hours in advance. Multiple missed sessions before the 24 hour cutoff will result in a temporary hold on your account to register for future workshops. If you are unable to attend, please either cancel your Eventbrite ticket or contact Natalie Garagiola, Emily Stone or Alexa Steiner at the co-lab. Visit #theco-lab-events in Slack for event details.
